Stick a note on any website.
Right-click, write, done. Your note comes back exactly where you left it - next visit, next week, on your other laptop.
Three moves. You already know two of them.
- 1
Right-click anywhere
Pick Add sticky note here from the browser’s own menu - it lives right between Print and Inspect.
- 2
Or ⌘Ctrl + click
For sites that keep right-click to themselves (looking at you, map apps). Links, buttons and text fields behave exactly as before.
⌘Ctrl+click - 3
Write, flip, forget
Markdown while you edit, neatly set in preview. Pick a color. Close the tab - the note will be there when you’re back.
Websites redesign. Your notes don’t mind.
Each note remembers the bit of the page it’s stuck to, plus where it sat. When the layout changes, every note moves with what it’s pinned to and settles into its new spot.
Weigh it. Fifteen grams of coffee to two hundred and forty of water is a fair place to start. Then change one thing at a time and taste the difference.

Browser sync, out of the box
Signed into your browser? Then your notes already sync to your other computers - nothing to set up. Browsers give each extension 100 KB of sync space, which is roughly 250 short notes.
Google Drive, for everything else
When sync fills up - or just for peace of mind - sign in with Google. Kurippu keeps one encrypted file in a hidden app folder: it won’t clutter your Drive and can’t see your other files.

- One encrypted file, with no size limit
We don’t have a database. That’s the feature.
Your notes live in your browser and, if you want, your Google Drive. There is no server in between to leak, sell or lose them.
Read the privacy policy- No account with us. Google sign-in talks straight to your Drive.
- Backups are encrypted on your device before they leave it.
- No analytics or trackers in the extension.
- Notes sit in their own sealed layer, out of reach of the page’s scripts.
- Export everything as Markdown or JSON, whenever you like.
- The extension’s code is open source, so you can check what it does for yourself.
Don’t take our word for it. Read the code.
A privacy page is only words. Kurippu is free and open source, so anyone can see what the extension stores, what it asks your browser for and where it connects.
Free, without a catch
No plans, no “pro”, no trial, no ads. There’s no server to pay for, and no stored copy of your notes to sell.
Check it yourself
No Backend server, no analytics in the extension, and no permissions beyond the ones listed in the privacy policy. You don’t have to believe any of it: the source is there to confirm it.

Fair questions.
Is it really free?
Are there pages I can’t stick notes on?
Can the website see my notes?
What happens when browser sync fills up?
Will notes cover the site’s menus?
How do I get my notes out?
Same sound, two languages, and between them the whole idea: a note, clipped to a page.
